  • Samples should be filled directly from the Niskin-bottle into new or acid-washed 20 ml scintillation vials.

    • Rinse the vial three times with water from Niskin.

  • Allow some head space for the addition of chloroform.

  • Add 0.2 ml (200 ฮผl) of Triklormethan for spectophotometri (Merck no. 2447.0500) using a dispenser.

  • Close the cap tight (chloroform is very volatile) and do not shake or turn the vial.

  • Store the samples at fridge temperature using the original trays for the vials.
