NPI Tromsø storage overview#

NPI Tromsø has two warehouses, one in the Fram Centre basement and another in the harbour in Breivika.

Fram Centre basement storage#

Contains instruments and project specific equipment.

  • All instruments and equipment requiring batteries.

  • Project specific pallets.

  • Lab gear.

  • Sampling and field equipment.

ACCESS: Western elevator in Fram 1 to floor 1 - use right side 1 button. Key card and code required.

Breivika basement storage#

The storage in Breivika generally contains equipment that does not contain batteries.

  • Kevlar rope.

  • Work containers including Kristen’s container and Troll Transect setup.

ACCESS: Breivika Port terminal, access by Circle K near the Botanical gardens. Restricted - contact OLA (e.g. Yannick/Kristen/Marius/Ceslav).
