Suggested directory structure for mooring raw, processed and script files#

cruiseID/moorings/recovered/...

  • /processed

  • /raw

  • /script_files

Where:

  • /processed will contain the processed data files in .mat format with one file per instrument in each subfolder for each mooringID, e.g:

    • /F11-1

    • /F12-1

    • /F13-1

    • etc..

  • /raw contains folders for each instrument type (for all moorings). The folders here will look like:

    • /ADCP

    • /IPS

    • /SBE37

    • /SBE56

    • /RBR

    • etc..

In these /raw/INSTRUMENT TYPE folders it is smart to a give already clear and unique names to the raw files when downloading them from the instruments, so e.g:

      • F10-year1_year2_sbe22261.XML

      • F10-year1_year2_sbe22261.hex

      • F10-year1_year2_sbe22261.cnv

      • F10-year1_year2_sbe22261.xmlcon

/script_files contains the .m script files for processing each instrument-type per mooring, e.g:

  • /ADCP

  • /SBE37

  • /SBE56

  • /RBR

  • etc…
